Resource Organizations (ROs) Network

Resource Organizations (ROs) are the critical pillar of the BRC ecosystem framework. These are agencies with relevant experience in Bio-Input Resource Centres (BRCs) and strong outreach in their respective regions.

Who can be an RO? Civil society organizations, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), technical institutions, and experienced entrepreneurs.

Regional Anchor Role: Facilitate coordination among BRCs, enable knowledge exchange, support quality standards, and strengthen linkages with markets, institutions, and government programs.

What Resource Organizations Do

  • Support BRC Entrepreneurs: Technical guidance, mentoring, and handholding to new and existing BRC entrepreneurs
  • Host Capacity Building: Trainings, demonstrations, and exposure visits using technical, logistical, and human resources
  • Strengthen Operations: Quality assurance, standard operating practices, and problem-solving for functional BRCs
  • Enable Coordination: Act as regional hubs connecting BRCs, Working Groups, experts, and institutions
  • Build Linkages: Connect with markets, input supply chains, research institutions, and government programs
